We are proud to say that Studio Village Community Centre has committed to improving their environmental sustainability. We have integrated measures to reduce use of non-renewable resources, paper products, water, toxic chemicals and the amount of waste we send to landfill. These actions have enabled us to qualify for GreenBizCheck Silver Certification.
Some of the measures that Studio Village Community Centre has integrated into the workplace to reduce their environmental impact include:
- Incorporating a ‘switch off’ campaign at their workplace
- Only purchase recycled or sustainably sourced printing paper
- Recycling all printer cartridges
- Continuously improving the environmental impact of the operations
- Only purchase rechargeable batteries
- Only use biodegradable cleaning products
